Learn when (and where) to get help in this free download from Kimbrough Law.
Aging, chronic illness, and disability create legal, financial, personal, and emotional challenges for older adults and their family caregivers. These challenges increase gradually over time, creating hidden health risks for family caregivers. The stress can become so great that caregiver health suffers significantly. Research sponsored by the Journal of the American Medical Association on the effects of caregiving on mortality found that as many as 30 percent of caregivers the die BEFORE the person they are caring for.
The key for family caregivers is knowing when to get help. This free download explains the most common situations that turn into heavy burdens for family caregivers, and where to go for help.
